NEW YORK — I conducted a quick poll among Yankees fans I know, asking what they thought about manager Aaron Boone’s decision to pull Clarke Schmidt after seven innings of no-hitter against the Orioles on Saturday.

Just as I suspected, there’s no one more polarizing on River Avenue than the manager — and that goes for general manager Brian Cashman and owner Hal Steinbrenner, Nos. 2 and 3 on social media’s hit list.
