“84 big eye, number one,” Chris Sprague barks as an 84-pound big-eye tuna, glistening in the morning sun, skids down a slippery belt at Lighthouse Marina in Barnegat Light.
The tuna, graded number one for best quality, is part of a 12,000-pound catch by the F/V Monica, which just spent a week and a half fishing off the coast.
