Trump MAGA allies clocked for targeting Biden

Social media users are slamming MAGA loyalists after some have pinned blame on former President Joe Biden over a potential Iranian attack on U.S. soil.

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the United States had struck three key Iranian nuclear sites in a post on his Truth Social platform. The U.S. strikes came after Israel launched its own attack on Iran on June 13 over concerns that Tehran had come close to developing a nuclear weapon. Trump had been weighing whether the country should join the offensive, setting a deadline last Thursday of two weeks to make a decision.

Since Trump decided to insert the United States into Israel’s war, his supporters have pointed to the number of Iranian nationals entering the United States under former President Joe Biden.

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, encourages Americans to “stay armed” and “stay vigilant” against an Iranian attack.

“We have no idea how many sleeper cells are inside the United States. It’s an unforgiveable weakness Biden left this country with,” he wrote on X on Sunday, adding “Stay alert. Pray.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said that Congress should pass her Special Interest Alien Reporting Act, which would require the Department of Homeland Security to publish a monthly list of “special interest aliens” attempting to enter the United States.

“Thousands of foreign nationals flagged as national security risks crossed our border illegally under the Biden regime,” Greene wrote on X on Sunday.

Greene was responding to Fox News reporting from Sunday, citing an anonymous senior U.S. Customs and Border Protection source, that over 1,500 Iranian nationals who illegally entered the country were arrested during the Biden administration, but nearly half were released.

Bill Melugin, a national correspondent for the network, posted on X that “there were over 2 million known/recorded gotaways at the border during the Biden administration. Because they were never caught, no way of knowing where they’re from.”

Social media users were quick to criticize the response of several supporters of the president — with some arguing that Trump made the decision to insert itself in the conflict.

“Trump put us in this predicament during his first term. Trump is the current president. Trump bombed Iran. Trump could have taken out those sleeper cells before bombing their country,” one user said.

MediasTouch Network, a progressive independent news organization, wrote: “They’re preemptively trying to blame Biden for any attacks on Americans that result from Trump’s war. Absolutely desperate.”

“They’re somehow blaming Biden for bombing Iran,” another user said.

One user added: “Trump is president and they still find a way to blame Biden, Obama, and Clinton. I think TDS is taking on a new meaning.”

In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said that “monumental damage” was done to Iran’s nuclear facilities, which include Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. The United Nations’ nuclear watchdog on Monday reported the bombing likely caused “very significant damage” to the underground parts of Fordow.

Iran has continued to insist that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only, while U.S. intelligence agencies have claimed that Tehran is not actively building a weapon. Trump and Israeli leaders, though, believe that Iran could quickly assemble one, which makes the situation an imminent threat.

“This is an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!” Trump wrote after he announced the “very successful” attack.
