Scratch-off lottery ticket worth $5M sold at an N.J. 7-Eleven

Three scratch-off lottery tickets worth at least $1 million were sold in New Jersey in the past week, including one valued at $5 million.

A player in Union County won the biggest prize after spending $30 on a $5,000,000 Fortune ticket at a 7-Eleven on Liberty Avenue in Hillside, lottery officials said.

It’s the first of three top prizes to be claimed. Lottery officials printed 7,030,460 tickets when $5,000,000 Fortune launched on Feb. 27.

On Sunday there were two top-prize winners in the state.

Someone purchased a $2 Millionaire Maker ticket at Lakeside Food Store on Main Street in Matawan, Monmouth County. It’s the second of three top prizes claimed for the game.

There were 5,560,960 tickets put into circulation when the game started Nov. 20, 2024. Tickets cost $25 each

Finally, a lottery player won the top prize for the $1,000,000 Spectacular with a ticket bought at ShopRite Liquor on West Passaic Street in Rochelle Park, Bergen County. It was the last of three top prizes available for the game.

Tickets cost $10. Lottery officials printed 9,731,040 of them.
