Rutgers women’s basketball’s home and away opponents in Big Ten play for the 2025-26 season were revelead on Wednesday afternoon.

They’ll face an 18-game conference schedule, featuring 16 single-game opponents in addition to one home and away matchup.

Rutgers will host Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Wisconsin and Washington — marking the first trip to Jersey Mike’s Arena for the Huskies.

The Scarlet Knights will hit the road against Illinois, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue, UCLA and USC.

Rutgers will play Penn State both home and away for the second consecutive season, which means they’ll face transfer Kiyomi McMiller twice.

McMiller, a five-star guard in the 2025 class, averaged 18.7 points per game and scored 30-plus points on three occasions for Rutgers. She garnered Big Ten Honorable Mention (Media) accolades, but left Piscataway after a year riddled with controversy.

“Kiyomi and I met not too long ago and we talked about the goals that we have for this program. Her individual goals, and all that,” head coach Coquese Washington said after Rutgers’ WNIT win over Charleston on March 27 — the same day news broke of McMiller’s portal decision.

“It was very clear during that conversation that the best thing for both sides is that we kind of make a change in direction.”

Game dates, times and television designations for the 2025-26 Big Ten season have yet to be determined.

Rutgers wrapped up its 2024-25 campaign with an appearance in the WNIT’s Great Eight and an overall record of 13-20. They went 3-15 in Big Ten play.
