Rutgers is set to host a local recruit who ranks among the top prospects in the 2026 class.

Jasiah Jervis, a four-star recruit in the 2026 class, is set to visit Piscataway on the weekend of October 17, NJ Advance Media’s Adam Zagoria confirmed.

The visit will come on Homecoming weekend, when the football program hosts Big Ten powerhouse Oregon at SHI Stadium.

Rutgers has been “very involved” with Jervis’ recruitment since his sophomore year of high school, he told On3’s Jamie Shaw this week.

“Every time I finish a game, I get a text from one of the coaches,” Jervis said. “When I took an unofficial there, it felt like a family. They welcomed me with open arms, and it was just great there. Seeing Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper working out, those are two pros, and one day I want to be like them.”

A 6-foot-5 prospect who plays for Archbishop Stepinac High School and the New York Renaissance on the AAU circuit, Jervis is also set to visit Northwestern in August and is discussing potential visits with Illinois and Pittsburgh, he told On3.

The four schools are among the multiple high-major offers he holds, a list that includes St. John’s, Villanova, North Carolina State, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Jervis plans to sign during the early signing period in November, he told On3.

Currently ranked the 101st-best prospect in the 2026 cycle on the 247Sports Composite, which aggregates all of the major recruiting services, Jervis recently made a 47-spot jump in 247Sports’ rankings, where he now stands as the 62nd-ranked recruit in his class.

“Initially evaluated as a slightly undersized small forward, Jasiah Jervis has proven that he can play the two where his 6-foot-5 size, ability to shoot with range and plus athleticism are major weapons. He’s been the leading scorer for a strong NY Rens team in the Nike EYBL and is showing some real promise as a secondary playmaker for others,” 247Sports national basketball director Eric Bossi wrote.
