The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $189 million, with a cash option of $83.1 million.
The winning numbers were: 23, 27, 32, 35 and 59. The Powerball number was drawn 11 with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country won Monday’s $177 million jackpot. A second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Oregon. It matched five numbers but not the Powerball.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $100 with a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 13, 47, 52, 64 and 67. The Powerball number was drawn 25 with a Power Play of 2X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million jackpot on Monday. Those winning numbers were: 7, 13, 27, 29 and 67. The Double Play number drawn was 8.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. A player who buys a ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win a second-prize of at least $1 million.
The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $189 million with a cash option of $82.7 million.
