A ramen restaurant in one of the state’s acclaimed foodie towns is closing.

Miso Ramen in Jersey City posted on their Instagram page Tuesday announcing their closure after nearly 10 years.

“Miso Ramen’s last day of operations will be Thursday, May 29th,” the post said. “Thank you for all your support over the years!”

NJ Advance reached out to the ramen shop but no one was available for comment.

Since opening in 2016, Miso Ramen earned a loyal following for its rich broths, handmade noodles (some of which were even gluten-free), and cozy, no-frills atmosphere.

The Newark Avenue restaurant was a go-to spot for locals and a quiet favorite among Jersey City’s ramen lovers. Even with acclaimed ramen shops like Ani Ramen, Pinwheel Garden and Manya Sandaime in town, Miso Ramen built a strong following of ramen-lovers.
