New Jersey’s Prudential North to Shore Festival is hosting a scavenger hunt on Saturday as part of this year’s music and arts event.
The contest, part of National Scavenger Hunt Day, kicks off at midnight Saturday in Newark and Asbury, offering a chance to win four pairs of concert tickets.
Clues accessed via Instagram, Facebook, and X (@North2Shore) will lead to secret spots at local restaurants, hotels, and venues where tickets will be hidden. Even if participants don’t find one, many locations will have special deals and events to enjoy.
The winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon on social media.
“We’re excited to be part of National Scavenger Hunt Day, celebrating local New Jersey businesses and energizing the community with a fun way to win tickets to North to Shore, June 14 to 29,” said Katie Sword, NJPAC’s vice president of marketing.
To join the hunt, follow North2Shore on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Returning for the third year, the Prudential North to Shore festival runs across Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City and will host celebrities such as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Jon Stewart, John Mulaney and Pete Davidson, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Jack’s Mannequin, Stone Temple Pilots and more.
In addition to the Scavenger Hunt, North to Shore is teaming up with local groups in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark to give out arts awards, said a spokesperson for the event. Local artists, arts groups, nonprofits, and small businesses can receive up to $10,000 to put on art or performance events. Some winners might also get a chance to perform before big-name acts.
Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy started North to Shore, which organizers have dubbed “the festival only Jersey can handle.”
Prudential Financial, based in Newark, is the official event sponsor. Mosaic for NJ.com is one of the event sponsors.
“Now, for a third summer, we can come together again to celebrate the qualities that make New Jersey an epicenter for diversity, creativity, and innovation,” Murphy has said. “Prudential North to Shore is more than a festival — it’s a showcase of everything that makes this state unique, welcoming, and an ideal stage for talent and the arts.”
