A man sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl in an apartment in Jersey City last year, authorities allege.
Charles Bordeaux is acquainted with the resident of the apartment where the alleged assault took place, but he didn’t know the victim, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.
Bordeaux, 42, of Jersey City is charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bordeaux had an unrelated warrant for his arrest when he was taken into custody Tuesday.for the January 2024 sexual assault.
He is being held at the Hudson County jail. Attorney information wasn’t immediately available.
