N.J. daycare worker injured 11-month-old, cops say

A 26-year-old employee at a daycare in Morris County was charged after allegedly injuring an 11-month-old child, authorities said.

Alysha Zarzycki was charged with endangering the welfare of a child at the Goddard School on Route 10, Denville police said Thursday.

The child’s parent reported the injury to police on Wednesday.

Alysha J. Zarzycki, of Mount Arlington, is scheduled for a pre-indictment conference on July 28, according to court records.

Zarzycki’s attorney, Clifton-based Alan Kraminsky, declined to comment on Friday. The Goddard School didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment. Zarzycki is no longer listed in the staff directory on the Goddard School’s website.

Additional information about the incident wasn’t immediately available.
