If you’re not caught up with "Love Island USA," – what are you doing here?
Well, we warned you! The first islander who was dumped from the villa has already popped up on a podcast to dive into everything that viewers did not see behind the scenes on “Love Island USA.”
Spoilers ahead...
Belle-A Walker (22) was the first islander we saw leave the villa during a brutal recoupling, in which Nic Vansteenberghe ultimately chose to stay coupled up with bombshell Cierra Ortega.
Cierra had come in previously and “stolen” Nic from Belle-A, but Nic had been trying to balance both women in the nature of exploring all of his connections in the villa, in true “Love Island” fashion. After a steamy moment in Soul Ties, Belle-A thought her connection was back on with Nic, but an even steamier moment in the Photo Booth – that Nic name-dropped in his speech – wound up being his deciding factor.
Belle-A might have just left the villa in Fiji, but she is already doing the rounds. Her first podcast appearance has already popped up, and she’s keeping it in the reality TV family, appearing on “The Bachelor” alum’s podcast, “The Viall Files.” Belle-A spoke with hosts Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy Viall about her time in the villa, her regrets, and what wasn’t shown on TV.
The two-hour-long episode has an interview with Belle-A, which starts at the 28:44 minute mark. She joined the call via video chat. It would seem has not left Fiji quite yet, but has had a chance to watch all of the show that has aired so far.
In her time on the podcast, Belle-A immediately addressed the conversation around how her name is spelled and whether she appreciates the commentary online, to which she said people need to “put respect on that dash” in reference to the fact that her name is not spelled Bella.
Belle-A talked about a number of things fans had questions about, like her choice not to kiss the guys in the first challenge, due to her “no kiss on the first date” policy.
She was also asked about her accent, to which Belle-A said she didn’t think she had one. She did say that she “is a first-generation American, as her mother was born in the Philippines, and she grew up around native Hawaiians.” She elaborated that it is “bits and pieces from the Philippines and Hawai’i and the slang of Oregonians and the slang of online.”

When asked if she felt manipulated by Nic after their kiss in Soul Ties, Belle-A said, “100%.”
She went on to clarify that there is no love lost and she will not “drag” Nic’s name. But she said that the viewers did not see the conversations that she and Nic had. She said they had deeper conversations, but they weren’t shown on TV. She said that she did encourage him to explore his connections to the deepest level, and he did that with Cierra, but she added that, “Was I being misled the entire process? Absolutely. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have. I would have backed off. Watching [the show] back, it really frustrates me, because I feel like his mind was made up since the moment he met Cierra. So, like that’s okay! But communicate that with me. That’s exactly what he didn’t do, and that’s all I asked from him since day one.”
The immediate follow-up question to that was, who else would Belle-A have pursued had she known where Nic’s head was at? Belle-A said that the good conversations she had with all of the other guys in the villa were not shown. The guy she actually had undeniable chemistry with? Taylor Williams.
But Belle-A revealed that her connection with Taylor was never shown. Huda Mustafa and Olandria Carthen were her best friends in the villa, and her friendship with Olandria (who Taylor has been coupled up with the entire time) prevented her from trying to pursue anything deeper with Taylor. After relaying how much Taylor was a good guy for taking care of her in the villa, she said if it had to be anyone other than Nic, it would have been Taylor.

Not only did Belle-A head to “The Viall Files” to talk about her experience on “Love Island USA,” she also spoke with Variety, in which she said her one regret.
When asked if she had any regrets or if she would have done anything differently, she told Variety, “I said what I said and did what I did. I have no regrets about those actions. I wish I approached it knowing that time isn’t fully on my side. I would have kept a more open mindset and explored things with Taylor while keeping Olandria in the loop.”
In her “Viall Files” interview, Belle-A “spilled tea” on a number of cast members, including her bestie Huda, saying that she isn’t sure if Huda and Jeremiah Brown had too much tunnel vision for each other because they’re not “testing their connection” by pursuing anyone else in the villa. She also weighed in on a question that fans had, whether people in the villa actually call Huda and Jeremiah “mom and dad,” to which Belle-A said she thinks Huda really just meant Belle-A called them that, not everyone in the villa. But her juiciest tidbit about her fellow cast members came when she revealed a red flag she ignored about Nic.
“Nic has been in an open relationship before. And that was one of the first things he told me within our first conversation. And I dont know why I didn’t raise a red flag to that right away. I feel like him having Cierra and I gave him a little bit of a taste of his past.”
We might not have seen the last of Belle-A, as she’s holding out hope for appearing during the Casa Amor week later this season (this took place around episode 20 last season). At the time of her “Viall Files” interview, as well as her interviews with Variety and Vulture, Belle-A did not have access to her phone, which could mean she is still in Fiji and might make an appearance as a bombshell or could reappear for Casa Amor.
Who is left on Love Island USA season 7?

Who was eliminated from Love Island season 7?Ben Symons/Peacock
As of right now, Belle-A is the only island who that has been eliminated during a recoupling. Yulissa Escobar (27) was removed from the villa in the middle of the second night, and was not discussed on the show at all.
Belle-A did not have her phone and had not been informed exactly why Yulissa left, but it was due to racist remarks she had previously made surfacing online after the show began to air. Belle-A said to Variety about Yulissa’s departure, “The producers came in and told us that Yulissa had to leave but didn’t tell us why. It was a somber feeling, because she did bring good energy to the crew. She was there to keep it a little spicy, and we felt her absence.”
Tonight’s episode (Ep. 9) does not appear to have a recoupling; however, it was teased that new bombshells are coming, which means a recoupling and elimination are looming this week.
