A jackpot-winning Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $1,517,266 was sold in New Jersey for Saturday’s drawing.
The lucky ticket was bought at QuickChek on Route 23, in Franklin Borough, Sussex County, lottery officials said.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 4, 6, 18, 30 and 39. The Bullseye number was 39.
The jackpot soared after nine consecutive daily drawings were held without a top-prize winner.
No one hit the reset jackpot on Sunday, pushing Monday’s top prize to an estimated $165,000.
A $2 ticket must match all five numbers (between 1 and 45) to win the jackpot. The odds of doing so are 1,221,759 to 1.
Over the weekend, there were no jackpot winners nationally for either Powerball or Mega Millions, the two large multi-state lottery games.
