Leo Pellegrini, Hoboken’s Health and Human Services director, resigned from his position, the city announced Wednesday.
Pellegrini had been a Hoboken employee for nearly 14 years, according to the city. He was at the helm of Health and Human Services throughout the coronavirus pandemic, leading projects that included door-to-door testing for senior citizens. He also oversaw a mass vaccination effort during the H1N1 swine flu outbreak in late 2009.
