Season 15 of “Expedition Unknown” is here, which means a whole slew of new adventures for Josh Gates. The new season kicks off with a new episode, entitled “Hitler’s Amerikabomber,” on Discovery Channel on Wednesday, June 18 at 9 p.m. You can watch live as it airs on Sling TV (half off first month) or Philo (free trial), or DIRECTV (free trial).
“Expedition Unknown” is, in classic Discovery Channel form, a quasi-reality, quasi-documentary series. The show follows Josh Gates, an archaeologist who is as much an explorer as he is a television presenter, on his countless expeditions around the world in search of various artifacts, legends, mysteries, and sites of antiquity.

In the new episode “Hitler’s Amerikabomber,” Gates will investigate the potential site of a secret weapons cache Hitler may have been preparing to use against the United States of America in a potential future conflict.
How to watch “Expedition Unknown” for free
Philo is the cheapest and most immediately accessible way to watch “Expedition Unknown” season 15 for free. It will also let you watch similar shows, like “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch” and “Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch.” However, cord cutters might also be drawn to the larger breadth of options provided by DIRECTV, or the customization of Sling TV.
