How Janelle met Kody
Janelle first met Kody while Kody was dating his future first wife, Meri. Janelle happened to be in the middle of a “horrible divorce” with a man who was in fact, Meri’s brother.
Janelle was not raised in a polygamist family, but she went on just one date with Kody and spiritually married him two weeks later.
When did Janelle and Kody Brown get married?
Janelle spiritually married Kody on Jan. 17, 1993, which also happened to be Kody’s 24th birthday.
Did Kody and Janelle get divorced?
Janelle spiritually divorced Kody in December 2022, but unlike Christine, she was indifferent about the whole separation with Kody.
Kody Brown & Janelle’s Children
Kody and Janelle share six kids together. They are only six of Kody’s 18 children (see the “Sister Wives” family tree to see which children belong to which wife). They are: Logan (who is married to Michelle Petty); Madison (who is married to Caleb Brush); Hunter(whose girlfriend is Aubrey Hubert); Robert Garrison; Gabriel; and Savanah.
