Kody Brown and his third wife, Christine, have had a tumultuous relationship throughout the series “Sister Wives” on TLC.

How Christine met Kody
Christine met Kody Brown when Kody was attending church with his first wife, whom he was legally married to at the time, Meri Brown. She became friends with Meri and Kody but was hoping for more out of the relationship with Kody.
When did Kody and Christine get married?
Christine married Kody spiritually on March 25, 1994, becoming his third “wife.” Kody revealed in the Season 17 “tell-all” episode that part of the reason he spiritually married her was that she was “polygamist royalty” and that her family name could help boost his status inside the church. Kody also admitted his marriage to Christine was an “ego” boost.
When did Kody and Christine get divorced?
Christine and Kody spiritually divorced in 2021. Much of her decision to leave the family was documented in season 17 of “Sister Wives.” Christine is now engaged to David Woolley.
Children Kody and Christine share
Christine and Kody share six children. Aspyn (who is married to Mitch Thompson); Mykelti (who is married to Antonio Padron); Paedon; Gwendlyn (who is married to Beatriz Queiroz); Ysabel; and Truely.
